With all the terrible and depressing news stories we see and hear of everyday, it's so nice to see a good - no great - news story. Thirty-three Chilean miners are being lifted to safety after almost seventy days trapped below the surface - the first seventeen days without knowing if family and friends knew they survived. I can't imagine what they and their families went through but a lot of people, both in Chile and across the globe, are smiling today.
