Comedian Greg Giraldo died last week. I am a big fan and his death came as quite a shock.
He was hospitalized in New Brunswick, NJ after he overdosed on prescription pills last weekend. According to several sources, the overdose was not a suicide attempt and "Greg passed away today at the hospital in New Brunswick as a result of an accidental overdose. His family was by his side."
Giraldo was widely known for his many hilarious celebrity roast appearances. He was also a judge on "Last Comic Standing." He was a Ivy league grad from Columbia and earned a law degree from Harvard before turning to stand up.
