For repeatedly, and single-handedly, blocking an Unemployment Extension Benefits package in the United States Senate, douchebag of the week honours goes to Republican Senator Jim Bunning from Kentucky. He effectively cuts off benefit extensions to 1.2 million Americans beginning Monday. Kentucky has an unemployment rate near 11%, btw.
