Sorry but I don’t get it.
I still find it hard to believe that US President Obama has won the Noble Peace Prize. He seems undeserving of a prize that has included people like Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King, Desmond Tutu and Albert Schweitzer.
Obama has not been on the job long enough to accomplish all that he said he would.
And it seems somewhat ironic in light of a recent troop surge announcement for the war in Afghanistan.
You simply don’t award prizes for things someone may do. Maybe after he does something, he should get the prize.
As someone succinctly stated, the rookie of the year does not go into the Hall of Fame.
